Banquet Bartender - On-call PT
The Banquet Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service at various events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, and private parties. This role involves preparing and serving drinks efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and Serve Beverages, Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as per the standard recipes and client requests. Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Customer Service, Provide excellent customer service to guests, engaging them in a friendly and professional manner.
- Setup and Close Down, Set up the bar area before events and break it down afterward.
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked with supplies and maintained throughout the event.
- Maintain Cleanliness, Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glasses and utensils, and ensure adherence to sanitation standards.
- Process Payments, Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, adhering to venue policies and procedures.
- Compliance and Safety, follow all safety and legal guidelines related to alcohol service, including checking IDs to prevent underage drinking. Handle any guest complaints or issues promptly and escalate to management when necessary

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
- Previous experience as a bartender, preferably in a banquet or event setting.
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and beverage handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service, such as TIPS or similar, is preferred.
