Catering Sales Manager
The World Equestrian Center is seeking to add a Catering Sales Manager to join our team!
This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development:
- Identify and cultivate new catering leads through networking, cold calling, market research, and attending industry events.
- Conduct sales presentations and site tours to showcase catering capabilities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients to generate repeat business.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with clients to secure bookings.
Event Planning and Coordination:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs, including guest count, menu preferences, and budget.
- Develop customized menus and pricing proposals tailored to each client.
- Manage event logistics such as venue setup, staffing, food delivery, and timeline coordination.
- Oversee event execution on-site to ensure smooth operation and client satisfaction.
Operational Management:
- Track sales performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor catering budgets, labor costs, and food costs to maintain profitability.
- Manage catering sales team, including training and performance evaluations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to adapt catering offerings.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Strong sales acumen with proven ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Knowledge of catering operations, including menu planning, food costing, and service standards.
- Proficient in using CRM systems to manage client data and sales pipelines.
- Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably with catering sales experience.
