What You’ll Be Doing (AKA Running the Seafood Counter Like a Pro!)

• Be the Seafood Guru! Help customers pick the freshest fish and share expert recommendations.
• Keep It Fresh & Looking Amazing! Organize, prep, and keep the seafood display shining.
• Master Seafood Handling! Cut, weigh, package, and prep fresh seafood with precision.
• Maintain Cleanliness & Safety! Follow health and safety guidelines to keep everything top-notch.
• Keep Operations Flowing! Anticipate customer needs, restock before items run low, and ensure smooth service.

What We Need From You:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (We do not provide visa sponsorship).
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
•  Must wear non-slip shoes (not provided) for safety.
• Must be fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Open availability required, including nights, weekends, and holidays – seafood lovers shop year-round!
• Must be able to work in hot, warm, and cold environments.
• Exposure to smoke and steam is required.
• Must be able to work with fresh and raw seafood products.
• Previous seafood, meat, or grocery experience is a plus—but if you’ve got the hustle, we want you!

Physical Requirements:

• Endurance & Mobility – Be on your feet, moving fast, and handling high-energy shifts.
• Strength & Lifting – Must be able to carry, lift, and move seafood up to 50 lbs below, at, and above waist.
• Manual Dexterity – Handle knives, scales, and packaging tools with precision.
• Temperature Adaptability – Comfortable working in hot, warm, and cold environments.
• Cool, Wet Environment – Comfortable working around ice, water, and fresh seafood.
• Exposure to Smoke & Steam – Be able to work in areas where these conditions exist.
• Strong Sensory & Vision Skills – Use vision, smell, and touch to assess seafood freshness.
• Ability to Communicate – Speak clearly and effectively with customers and team members in a fast-paced setting.
