Position Summary

As an On-Call Banquet Set-Up Associate, you will support the Banquet and Events team by preparing event spaces to perfection. From setting tables and arranging furniture to ensuring equipment is placed just right, your work lays the foundation for incredible guest experiences.

What You’ll Do

Set up and break down banquet rooms for events according to diagrams and instructions
Move, lift, and arrange tables, chairs, staging, and event equipment
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards are met
Maintain storage and inventory of banquet supplies
Support team members and communicate effectively with event leadership
Take pride in creating a seamless, behind-the-scenes experience for guests
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

Reliable and trustworthy with a strong sense of responsibility
Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
Detail-oriented and organized with excellent follow-through
Physically fit and comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds
Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Calm under pressure with the ability to adapt to last-minute changes
Available nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Reliable transportation and ability to report on short notice
Non-slip shoes required (not provided)

Physical Requirements

Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs below waist, at waist, and above shoulders
Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and climb stairs as needed
Use step stools or ladders safely
Maintain manual dexterity for precise setup tasks
Speak clearly to communicate with team members and event leads
Maintain visual acuity for inspecting setups and reading diagrams
Hear verbal instructions in busy or noisy environments
Work in hot, humid, warm, and cold environments
Exposure to smoke, steam, fresh and raw food items, and other allergens
Maintain balance and coordination while moving equipment and décor
