Food Runner Job Summary – High-Energy, Guest-Facing Role

We’re seeking a high-energy, detail-loving, fast-moving Food Runner to join our front-of-house team on a part-time basis. You’ll be the crucial link between our world-class kitchen and our guests, ensuring each dish arrives quickly, perfectly presented, and with a smile.

Responsibilities – What You’ll Do:

• Deliver food from kitchen to guests quickly, safely, and with grace
• Confirm accuracy and presentation of each dish before serving
• Assist servers with table clearing, resetting, and guest support
• Communicate clearly with both the kitchen and service teams
• Keep food pickup and service areas clean, neat, and organized
• Maintain the pace, professionalism, and precision DeRomo’s is known for

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Prior restaurant or food service experience preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for long periods
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (below waist, at waist, and overhead)
• Excellent hearing and verbal communication for guest and team interactions
• Comfortable navigating stairs, tight spaces, and using step-stools
• Work in hot, humid, or cold environments, and around food allergens
• Manual dexterity for handling trays and navigating crowded spaces
• Fluent English required; Spanish a plus
• Open availability required, including nights and weekends
• Reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Non-slip shoes required (not provided)
