Schedule: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday (9 am to Finish)

Join our team at the beautiful Holiday Inn Roberts Centre, conveniently located off of 68 and 71 in Wilmington, Ohio. We are currently seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and guest-focused Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work, have weekend availability, and enjoy creating a warm and welcoming environment for every guest who walks through our doors. 

Position Summary:  

As a Room Attendant, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and presentation of guest rooms. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help uphold the high standards of the IHG brand. Working closely with a supportive and team-oriented housekeeping staff, you’ll help deliver consistently outstanding levels of service throughout the property, one room at a time. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest bathrooms, including mirrors, sinks, tubs, tile surfaces, and shower curtains, followed by mopping floors to ensure a spotless and welcoming space. 
  • Refresh and reset guest bedrooms by replacing used bedding and linens, and meticulously clean all surfaces, including tables, chairs, lamps, and other furnishings. 
  • Maintain overall room cleanliness by emptying trash, vacuuming carpets and floors, dusting surfaces, and mopping as needed to uphold brand standards. 
  • Restock guest amenities with care and attention, including soaps, shampoos, conditioners, coffee supplies, and other in-room essentials to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Keep housekeeping carts and storage areas fully stocked, clean, and well-organized to support efficiency and readiness throughout the shift. 
  • Maintain a clean, well-groomed, and professional appearance with consistent attention to personal hygiene and grooming, in accordance with the standards outlined in the employee handbook. 
  • Complete any direct assignment from the Manager/Supervisor. 

Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Previous hospitality/service industry experience preferred but not required. 
  • Prior housekeeping experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Dependable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative. 
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
  • Professional, courteous, and team-oriented demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment and effectively multitask.
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, lifting, climbing, reaching, bending, twisting, etc. 
  • Dedicated to providing excellent guest service and maintaining high standards.
  • Commitment to guest satisfaction and attention to detail. 
  • Embraces a growth mindset through continuous learning, adaptability, and openness to feedback.
  • Able to clean a minimum of 16 rooms per a 7.5-hour shift to IHG standards, using the Sparkle Program steps.  
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
