DeRomo's Gourmet Market & Restaurant is a popular, busy, authentic Italian marketplace in Bonita Springs. We are hiring an energetic person who will work in our Cheese department and make our own market made mozzarella cheese. Culinary skills are necessary however, we are willing to train in the art of making our amazing mozzarella.

Full-time position. Available Monday - Saturday (5 days/week)

Shift: 6AM - 2PM

Wage: starting at $18/hr commensurate with experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Make mozzarella cheese 
• Accurately complete daily production batch record entries.
• Record and fill orders with quality customer service standards
• Assist customer with orders.
• Answer customer questions about cheese selections
• Maintain a neat and clean workspace.
• Perform all operations in accordance with the markets standard operating practices.
• Assist at efficient production and/or packaging operations for daily scheduled runs.
• Safe operation of all equipment.
• Proper use and handling of cleaning supplies

 Requirements:

•  Previous experience in deli/cheese is a plus, but not necessary
• Good customer courtesy and communication skills
• Must be 18 years of age or older and flexible to work weekends
• Displays a high level of integrity and reliability
• Must be able to lift and carry 201bs. regularly
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time
