Kitchen Supervisor | White Willow

The World Equestrian Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Supervisor to support the daily back-of-house operations of our upscale Pan-Asian dining concept. This role is instrumental in ensuring culinary excellence, operational efficiency, and a seamless guest experience aligned with our luxury standards. 

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fine dining or Pan-Asian cuisine, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and a passion for culinary precision. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will assist the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chefs in leading kitchen operations, training cooks, and upholding the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

 

  • Oversee preparation and execution of menu items to ensure consistency, flavor balance, and elevated presentation. 
  • Assist in training, scheduling, and supervising kitchen staff. Foster a disciplined, respectful, and team-oriented work environment. 
  • Monitor readiness and performance across multiple stations including wok, robata, fry, sushi prep 
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house leadership to ensure accurate and timely food delivery. 
  • Lead kitchen setup and breakdown procedures, ensuring all stations are clean, stocked, and secure. 
  • Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health standards in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. 
  • Assist with ordering, receiving, and managing kitchen supplies and ingredients. 
  • Support the planning and execution of private dining and special events with elevated culinary offerings. 
  • Contribute to menu development, seasonal specials, and a culture of culinary excellence.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods. 
  • Capable of working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment for 8+ hours per shift. 
  • Good vision and hearing are required for effective communication and quality control. 

 

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities 

  • Prior kitchen or restaurant supervisory experience required (level based on skill and tenure). 
  • Strong understanding of culinary operations, particularly in Italian or Pan-Asian cuisine. 
  • Ability to follow procedures, lead by example, and maintain a professional demeanor. 
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and commitment to continuous improvement. 
  • ServSafe Certification preferred or willingness to obtain. 
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
