Stirrups Cook II
The Cook II position is an intermediate-level role responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with moderate supervision. The individual in this role demonstrates a higher level of culinary skill and knowledge, contributing to the kitchen operations.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare and cook a variety of food items according to recipes and standards.
- Assist the team with daily tasks.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet established standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Participate in kitchen cleaning and dishwashing duties as needed.

- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry a weight of 50lbs
- Must be able to work walking and or standing continuously for a period of 8 hours

- Associate is often required to sit and use his or her hands and fingers to handle or feel
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school training preferred.
- 2+ years of professional cooking experience.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, food preparation techniques, and culinary
- terminology.
- Ability to follow and adapt recipes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
