Bakery Attendant/Barista
The World Equestrian Center is searching for a Bakery Attendant/Barista to join our team. The Ideal candidates must have excellent customer service skills, experience in food and beverage services, barista, retail, and a desire to provide great experience for our guests.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist all customers with purchases and other requests.
- Understand and adhere to guidelines on restricted sale items.
- Implement and follow all cash handling procedures.
- Process and collect payments with cash handling, and credit card processing.
- Stay current on all shows, promotions, and future events withing the Center and local area.
- Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
- Work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods of time.
- Knows how to run espresso-based drinks, refreshers & other specialty coffees.
- Knows how to take care of each guest individually, providing great experience.
- Stock/restock Pastry/Dessert/Grab’N’Go case to ensure smooth service.
- Know how to work with MICROS and is familiar with a Point of Sales system.
- Maintain an awareness of inventory/stock.
- Maintain store cleanliness and appearance.
- Provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Exhibit strong customer service skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience with cash handling procedures.
- Must be available to work evening and weekend hours and have open and flexible availability.
- Previous experience with coffee making.
- Previous experience with MICROS/Point of Sales System.
